TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am currently a full-time high school English teacher at a wonderful school in Hawaii. I love my job and my students, and I try to make my English classes as engaging and beneficial for my students as possible!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to incorporate a lot of activities and humor into my teaching. I teach some grammar and vocabulary, but most of my subject matter is reading and writing based. I don't just try to teach my students what a certain book is talking about or how a specific poem was written; I aim to teach my students skills (reading, writing, and critical thinking skills) that they can transfer and utilize in many different areas of their lives.
