TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a working mother who is also a school-based speech-language pathologist. I love working with students, families, and teachers to help my students correct language and articulation delays!

MY TEACHING STYLE

The best part about working in the public school is working closely with classroom teachers! My teaching style is one where I do some speech-language therapy in my classroom and some in the student's classroom. I am a resource to all the teachers in my building regardless of whether or not their student receives speech/language therapy!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated from the University of Oklahoma with my Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Upon graduation, I briefly worked for a private speech therapy company before coming to the public schools. Prior to the birth of my daughter, I taught developmental reading and writing courses at the local community college here in Tulsa.
