TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have a Bachelor of Education from Nipissing University and a Master of Education from the University of British Columbia. I have taught Preschool through Eighth Grade and love it all! I am currently interning at an innovative school that is multi-age non-graded and focuses on the outdoors and entrepreneurial activity.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I firmly believe that students should be the focus every day. Far too often learning is done from a top down approach where the teacher is the focal point of the classroom. All of my resources encourage students to explore and to develop their own voices in the learning process.
