Over 20 years in the field of learning and development in a variety of professional contexts, including education. I teach a variety of master's level courses in learning theory, instructional design, program evaluation and instructional strategy.
From a learning theory perspective, I most often employ a cognitive constructivist approach: encourage my learners to create their own meaning and understanding, while providing them with a bit of structure to reinforce the learning process.
In 2002, I received a Best Practice Award from American Gas Association for a Gas Operations Technical Training Program I implemented at We Energies in Wisconsin.
Master's Degree in Adult Education from University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee (1996), Doctor of Education from Cardinal Stritch University (2002).
