TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I had an amazing experience teaching English for two years in France in an elementary school setting. Through that experience, I fell in love with the French language and with teaching and came back to Canada where I've taught Middle School French Immersion in BC for the last 10 years. I'm now so excited to be entering another new chapter teaching in a local K/1 French Immersion classroom.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love finding ways to make traditional learning more engaging and relevant, drawing in cross-curricular elements and differentiation wherever I can.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I have been featured in several newspaper articles, as well being a headliner in a province-wide magazine about the RealWorldClass Economics System that I began in my class. I was also recently interview in a Federally-distributed financial newsletter about it.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics, as well as a Bachelors of Education. My linguistics training was in English, and my educational training was in French.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I have three amazing little children, all 4 years old and under. They light up my life and inspire me daily.
