I've taught full time in 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. Currently, I am substitute teaching, which I enjoy quite a bit as it gives me the freedom to devise new learning strategies and develop materials for the classroom.
My two sons, both now in college, have influenced my teaching style to a large extent. I differentiate my instruction as much as possible. I usually start my lesson teaching whole group and then move to teacher-based small group work. I feel this process allows more of my students to make greater academic gains.

I graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelors of Science in Education. Currently, I am working on my masters at Ball State University.
I'm a grade school teacher. My husband is a creative director at an advertising agency. We're teaming up to combine our skills in order to produce educational products that are fun, a little silly, mildly irreverent (but appropriately so), engaging and of solid educational value. We've raised two children so we know what grabs their attention and what doesn't. The goal behind the materials we produce is simply to allow kids to have a blast while they learn. We're starting with just two posters but keep an eye on us as we hope to add more materials, on a variety of subjects, just as quickly as we're able.
