I've been a teacher for 19 years and have taught English Language Learners as well as mainstream classrooms. My main experiences have been with the Elementary grades K-6. I am fluent in both Hmong and English and I am literate in both English and Hmong. I also have a Bilingual Bi-Cultural license and have done some work in the areas of curriculum development for the development of Hmong Heritage and Cultural Programs.

Basic k-12 education then did post-secondary studies at the college. Got a scholarship to college and got my undergrad in 1999. I started teaching in the fall of 1999 and have continued teaching since. I went back into graduate studies in 2009 and got my Bilingual Bi-Cultural license in 2011. I have a Masters in Education with a focus on early childhood literacy and have a K-12 Reading license.
My family and I love traveling in general and traveling abroad is always on the top list for every summer break. We are always so amazed about the cultural experiences that we encounter around the world.
