I have taught first grade bilingual, Second grade dual language and now Fourth grade dual language in three different school district. I have my masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction and my endorsement in ESL/Bilingual.
Beginning with the end in mind, I design my units to be highly differentiated for all students. Many of the things I have created come from the core curriculum but have been adapted to meet the needs of all learners.
Have presented at Illinois State Bilingual Conference for 3 years in a row. Published twice on the 'Sisters' (creators of Daily 5/CAFE management system) website twice for classroom design. Have assisted in developing Writer's Workshop curriculum, Social Studies Curriculum and Dual Language units. Type 03, Type 29 certified
