I've been teaching English 9-12 for an urban school district for 13 years.
I enjoy teaching my students, and we have a lot of fun in class as we learn. I push my students to work hard, but I explain to them why I'm pushing them, and they usually rise to the challenge.

I received my undergrad degree in English/History (double major) grades 6-12. I have a Master's degree from UW-Madison in Educational Psychology. I'm a fourth year doctoral student (prelim stage) in Educational Psychology-Learning and Development.
I am married with five kids--ages ranging from 3 years old to 23 years.
