I use traditional approaches to teaching integrating technology and hands-on activities. I use structured model lessons that guide students incorporating small groups and center-based tasks to practice and reinforce weekly skills. I feel that an enthusiastic hook and using essential questions are critical to engage learners. Student accountability and consistent feedback is crucial for student self-reflection and improvement. This not only builds student self-esteem, but it also guarantees success.

I LOVE teaching! I LOVE sharing ideas and collaborating with other teachers. I can honestly say that I truly love the career path that I have chosen. I believe that all children can learn...it just takes GOOD teachers to make them believe in themselves. I have been teaching for 18 years...all have been spent in the primary grades Kindergarten, First, and Second grades. I hope that you will find some useful tools and activities here on my site. PLEASE feel free to email me with any questions...ANYTIME! email@example.com www.rennkindergarten.com Teacher Hugs! Rhea Leigh Renn
