I started teaching in 2003. It has been a blast! In that time I have taught Kinder, First, Second, Third and Fourth grade. I currently teach third grade.

The use of hands on activities that engage students while allowing them to be self learning can be a daunting task. However, in order to adequately prepare our students for the world that awaits them in their adulthood, it is necessary. I enjoy creating activities to make learning fun for students. Its equally as rewarding to create visually appealing classroom helps that work in my classroom and then to be able to share them with all of you!

Member of Delta Kappa Gamma: Iota Pi Chapter Served on many district committees and have received District honors for curriculum creation. 2012 I received "A Touch of Class" Award for help in the Mathematics Department from my district. 2011 award for Excellence in Reading Scores on State Assessment
