TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have had the privilege of working across several different high schools as both an English and History faculty leader, leading all of the schools to enhanced results for years 7-12. Moreover, students in my classes have, on average, repeatedly outperformed national and state average growth levels by significant margins.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Students should enjoy learning and enjoy their time in the classroom. They should leave it pondering upon the lesson and the lessons within it. Their brains should be engaged in the critical thinking skills necessary for their future lives and should be enamoured with the skills necessary for success in their senior years of education. I have always prided myself on creating engaging, enjoyable and well-versed units and lessons of work and attribute this to my students' continued successes.
