This is my 13 year teaching at a public school setting. During my career, I have taught 7th grade science (Living Environment), 8th grade science (Physical Science), regents Chemistry and regents Physics. Prior to being an educator, I worked at two environmental organizations in NY state. While in college, I worked internships at the Syracuse Police Department as a Forensic science technician. Also, I worked at Anheuser-Busch in the quality assurance lab.
I am a firm believer of hands on experiences and cooperative earning groups. I truly believe the 8th grade student learns most efficiently when working amongst their peers.
