-35 years classroom teaching experience Chicago Public Schools grades 3 through 8, teaching core subjects. -16 years experience conducting nationwide workshops showing teachers how to use aviation activities to teach language arts, social studies, math, science, and technology in grades 4 through 10. -Taught high school students in Federal Aviation Administration Aviation Career Exploration Academies. -Featured speaker at NCTM and ASCD national conferences showing how to use aviation in middle, upper, and high school classrooms. -Taught aviation education workshops to teachers at conferences in Michigan, Illinois, California, Idaho, and Montana. -Conducted numerous workshops for Illinois Regional Offices of Education statewide

MY TEACHING STYLE

Aviation education activities are 90% hands on for teachers and students. These activities incorporate national and local education standards. The activities feature lessons developed by Richard Klein.
