TEACHING EXPERIENCE

ESL is in my blood. My mother arrived in the United States at age 18 with almost no English skills. Half of my family are ESLers (if they speak English). I've taught ESL students in the private sector for around 17 years now, both here and in South Korea. I currently teach adult international students at an Intensive English Program in Oklahoma.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My lessons are centered around student-directed discoveries such as linguistic investigations and employ communicative activities and cooperative learning. Group work is heavily emphasized with students taking the lead as much as possible. What I create for TpT reflects that.
