Use the following songs to create interest in Latino music and to get students giving opinions! Each slide features a song, including the title, artist, type of music, and a link to a video on YouTube. I then give students a chance to write their opinions using "gustar", "interesar", and "aburrir." Teaching style
I believe that the best way to get students learning is to engage them right away and have them complete a task that could be transferred to the real world. Through interaction and actual application of the language students are able to feel confident and comfortable immediately while also retaining the language in the long run.
