TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been a classroom teacher for thirty years! Most of those years were spent as a public school teacher. I have also taught at a charter school, which stressed integrating the arts across the curriculum.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love integrating the arts into the curriculum! Happy classrooms with a buzz of business and colorful bulletin boards make a great environment for teaching and learning.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I've had many honors throughout my teaching career. I think just being a teacher and working with kids is the greatest honor ever!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I had amazing elementary education teachers and lived around the corner from the school. Many of my family members are educators!

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I have been married for thirty-five years to my high school sweetheart! We have two grown sons and a maltipoo! Teaching is my way of expressing my creativity and passing on knowledge to my students by appealing to their natural curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.
