I am a firm believer that if a student is engaged, then they will learn the material far better. I typically introduce the material by the use of cloze notes and PowerPoint slides. I incorporate as many hands-on labs that I can to get the students to use inquiry and begin to think like scientists. I use some project based learning (PBL) and inquiry practices to get the student to think at a higher level than traditional practices bring about. In my store, you will find my notes that I use and the labs that can be used to supplement the materials.
