MY TEACHING STYLE

RocketLit can be used in may different ways in the classroom: - Anchor Activity - Input for Direct Instruction - Do Now/Warm-up - Flipped classroom homework and assessment - Exit slip at the end of period to assess student knowledge - Intro to new material or Hook at beginning of lesson - Introduction to more complex topics or concepts in high school or community college

RocketLit was founded by Brendan Finch, who taught in urban Los Angeles for 7 years. After entering into education through Teach For America, he taught at various public and charter middle and high schools, as well as CAVA (an online, virtual, charter school).
