I began my teaching career in 1989, which reflects my name Rockin Resources. I love the eighties hair bands! My students had my heart every day for the past 20 + years and my passion was always to create an environment where they ENJOYED learning! My community and students always embraced my love for teaching and supported my creative ways to motivate students to reach their highest potential. I am never more proud than when a prior student reaches out to tell me how much I inspired them in my classroom. Now I create materials full-time and it excites me to reach students all over the world.
I believe in teaching balanced literacy as well as meeting the needs of individual students. I make my lessons creative and motivational so that my students are excited to walk in my door each morning! I've been known a time or two to throw out a lesson for one that I came up with in the shower that morning or in a dream the night before. If I could make it more fun, then why not? Motivate-Educate-Differentiate!

I have two children of my own, but love on everyone else's children as well! My daughter graduated from the University of South Carolina majoring in Marketing and is now a member of Rockin Resource's Team! My son is a senior in high school and plays basketball and tennis. We have a cat named Giuseppe who we call Seppy and my daughter's kitty Luna. Needless to say, I keep busy! I can't forget my husband who often says, "It is time to turn off that mind!"
