TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught 11th grade US History, 6th grade history, English, and reading, and currently teach 7th grade English and history.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My classroom is a place where students feel safe and supported to share ideas and explore their interests and passions. Whether in writing or discussions, my goal is to encourage a love of learning and critical thinking. My lessons incorporate frequent collaboration, and challenge students to consider answers they can't simply find in the text. I love what I do, and hope that dedication is obvious in my teaching and lessons!
