TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Roxanne Kloper has taught mathematics to 4th - 12th Graders, to home school students, and to university students. She has worked at public, private, parochial, and Montessori schools where she has been employed as a teacher, math chairperson, mathematics coach, and full-time math tutor. Trained to run math teacher circles, she has a great passion for improving the quality of mathematics education, and she has been a senior developer for an award-winning "Exemplary" mathematics solution. Places in which she has both taught and tutored include Pennsylvania, The U.S. Virgin Islands, and Florida, and she has supported teachers across the United States. Roxanne wears many hats: mathematics teacher leader, classroom instructor, professional math and reading tutor, educational consultant. Whether she is writing text, composing math stories, designing tutorial software, hosting a PBS educational television show and her school's morning show math segment, coaching MathCounts, assisting AMC and Mu Alpha Theta students, or conducting professional development, it is clear that education is her passion, her area of talent, and her true calling.
