TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my fourth year teaching 8th grade English Language Arts and Reading and a RTI Tier III Reading Program in Huntsville, TX.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Hands-on, Engaged2Learn, Innovative, PBL, and every other synonymous word that relates to the following. My big thing is that everything I do is based off of my students' needs and what my students' deserve to have as apart of their education. They drive everything I have ever designed. I try to incorporate real-life experiences and pondering as much as I can. I am not afraid to try and design new things.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Educator of the Month November 2016

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I grew up and graduated high school in Selah, WA. I then moved to Huntsville, TX where I received my Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in secondary education at Sam Houston State University. I graduated in August 2017 with my Masters Degree as a Reading Specialist.
