TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I was a teacher for 15 years, most of them in a high school Social Studies classroom teaching US History, Contemporary Issues, and American Government. Near the end of my time in the classroom, I also got to teach two electives I always wanted to teach, History Through Film and a course on modern terrorism. Both were fun because the students were interested and eager to know more, as well as see history from different perspectives. I am no longer in the classroom. I have moved on to software support of school information systems. I now teach district employees and teachers how to use their computer systems better and more efficiently.
