I have 7 years teaching 2nd grade in an urban school district. My classroom is an inclusion classroom, with a wide range of student abilities and talents.
I try to differentiate as much as possible in my day. I teach guided reading, guided math, and guided writing. Almost all homework is based on student needs. Student choice is also an important aspect in my planning.
