TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a fifth year high school teacher. I have taught 9th through 12th grade. I have experience teaching World History, United States History I and II, Human Geography, Global Studies, Foreign Policy and Social Justice Action Lab. Within all of these courses, I have experience teaching to honors and AP levels in one class, as well as working with students with disabilities. My lessons can be used at a variety of different levels and are open to various forms of differentiation.

MY TEACHING STYLE

A lot of my teaching is based in project based learning. I like to create lessons that let students research, learn and produce a creative output. I encourage my students to also think in a social justice perspective.
