TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught from pre-school age through adult both in in the United States and Japan. Currently I am teaching at a middle school level and am loving it!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love to use project based learning when teaching. Students gain so much from being able to explore and answer their own "what if" questions.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I have received an Outstanding Science and Math Individual (OSMI) from my school district, very touched to have been nominated!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I grew up in the UK and decided to attend the University of Wales, Bangor to gain a BSc in Ocean Sciences. I grew up on the river Thames and was always fascinated by the sea! I followed up my BSc with a MSc in Applied Physical Oceanography, also from the University of Wales.
