I have worked as an instructional assistant for seven years at the same elementary school. I earned an associate's degree in elementary education and a bachelor's degree in elementary education with K-8 certification. I have had many experiences with special education and gifted and talented programs as well. I have coached dance teams for five years at the elementary level.
I am a continuous learner myself, so I am always willing to try new things. My teaching style is hands-on and always evolving.

I am an involved community member, always looking for ways to share my knowledge and assistance. I am the director of the non-profit organization "Disabilities Awareness Week" that works to raise awareness of the disabilities that affect those in our community. I am also the director of the non-profit organization "Operation Prom Dress" that provides underprivileged high school girls in our area with everything they would need for prom for FREE, from dresses to make-up and everything in-between!
