TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for twelve years. My first job was Academic Intervention - teaching reading and math to struggling learners grades first through fifth. For the last six years, I have been teaching first grade. I love my job!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I aim to make learning fun! In my classroom, students work together to explore new ideas and make connections with the world around them. If you visited my classroom, you would find hands-on learning and partner/group discussions. I create a lot of my own learning materials, used to engage learners as they practice new skills and challenge understandings.
