TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am in my 7th year of teaching. I started my career teaching English Language Arts and History to 5th-8th graders in a small village in American Samoa. I have spent the last 5 years looping with students in 4th and 5th grade. I am now a 3rd grade reading and writing teacher.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love teaching active kids! We spend most of our day moving around and getting our hands dirty. I stay anchored in our standards but enjoy relating what we learn to the "real world".

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I received honors at the University of Texas at Austin the four years I attended.
