TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my 8th year teaching in the elementary classroom. I currently teach 1st grade, but have experience in grades 1-3. It's so easy to do what I do because I love teaching so much!

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style can be summed up by my main quote. "I do, you watch. I do, you help. You do, I help. You do, I watch." Lots of modeling and lots of independence while I help guide and support!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

-Presenter at I Teach 1st! for SDE in Las Vegas, Nevada -Pleasant Local Schools Teacher of the Year, District 1 in the state of Ohio Teacher of the year, and Top 11 finalist for Ohio Teacher of the Year in 2014

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education in 2006 and my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2007. I received both degrees from Ole Miss. Hotty Toddy! :) I also have my Reading Endorsement from Ashland University.
