TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I'm a school based speech-language pathologist in a K-22 therapeutic day program. I work primarily with students with autism and related developmental disorders. I'm in the process of training my personal therapy dog to participate in animal-assisted therapy.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I emphasize multi-modal instruction with all of my students. We read, write, act, draw, and play with our language every session. This emphasis on fun builds their connections to the concepts and encourages carryover into the classroom. My clinical passions include social communication disorders, fluency disorders, Apraxia, and individuals who use AAC devices.
