TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Currently in my fifth year of teaching in my home school district of Marion County. I have taught 9th-11th grades, speech, journalism, and been blessed to be the yearbook advisor.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am extremely vocal and active and this shows in my teaching. I cannot stand still, and I don't expect my kids to. We constantly use groups and partner-sharing to gather information and teach each other. I absolutely love the CCSS because it has allowed me to developed as a teacher in the way I present information to my students. I am constantly researching new teaching techniques because every student is different and cannot comprehend the lesson plan from 1999. WE MUST ADAPT!
