My experience in teaching is in volunteering, tutoring, and homeschool educator based. I have taught preschool classes and mentored elementary Title I school classrooms bringing hands-on activities and workshops into the classroom. I also teach at low-cost conferences emphasizing junior-high girl's math and science education for under-served districts. My homeschooling emphasis ranges actively from kindergarten fundamentals through intermediate education.
Hands-on and activity based style with emphasis on critical thinking skills. I like to encourage students to create games, puzzles, and also to work to teach another student the material. Teaching to others can solidify basic concepts. Inventing games around a concept encourages critical thinking skills and cooperative learning.
