My 4th-6th grade students LOVE this card game. Once you teach it to them, they request it often. It helps students understand how energy is passed through the food chain. It’s also a great activity to leave for a sub.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been a teacher for over 35 years, the last 20 of which have been in elementary science. I have taught countless teacher training sessions with great success. Throughout my career I enjoyed developing lessons that are fun for students, promote high levels of learning and are aligned with current standards. All of my lessons have been used successfully for many years and have proven to be some of my students' favorites. I have happily shared my lessons for free to teachers for most of my career and now I'm retiring and looking for a little added benefit from my beloved work.

MY TEACHING STYLE

High interest, higher level thinking, standards based, content rich, "old school no-monkey-business" classroom management style- Fun but Fair . I enjoy a bit of a "rock star" reputation in my community
