TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I currently homeschool my two elementary aged children and love incorporating art, play or creativity into our day. My teaching experiences include being a high school instructional assistant that worked specifically with physically and mentally disabled students and teaching fine art for an after school program at local elementary schools.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like visual and hands on learning and teaching. I desire to inspire art into everyday subjects and teaching in order for students to grow in their creative intelligence.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Bachelors of Art in Applied Arts and Sciences with a Painting emphasis.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated from San Diego State University and received my BA in Applied Arts and Sciences with a Painting emphasis. I completed over 24 units of Child Development Courses as well as some digital design classes. I continue to pursue the creative field after graduation by working as a freelance artist and photographer.
