I have worked in the field of education for over 22 years. I began my career as a paraprofessional, and then I became a classroom teacher, soon after I transitioned out of the classroom and became a computer teacher, which fortunately lead me to my current position as the Technology Coordinator of an elementary school. Technology has always been a passion of mine. Ever since my 7th grade teacher, Mrs. Rollins, taught me how to type on the typewriter, I was hooked.
I am extremely animated when I teach. I have to keep my students on their toes so I do my best to keep my classroom, fun and exciting.

I now have a Master Degree in Educational Technology, and have a Dual Certification in General - Special Education K-6. As if that wasn’t enough, I am currently in training to become a certified teacher/trainer for Google and Edmodo. I love learning!
I am very well versed with the NSTE, and the CCLS for technology, and have been trained extensively in The Framework for Teaching, by Charlotte Danielson.
