ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

This year I will embark on an adventure as Fourth Grade Teacher at Carver Elementary Academy in the Amarillo Independent School District. For the past three years I have been the Curriculum and Assessment Specialist for Differentiated Instruction in the Amarillo Independent School District. I currently hold a Masters in Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Tarleton State University and a Masters in Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from University of Texas at Arlington. While in the classroom I had the great opportunity to teach First Grade ESL, Fourth Grade Writing, and ESL Grades Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. I am also a Part-Time and Adjunct instructor for West Texas A&M University. I teach courses for students who are pursuing their degree in Education.
