I am a veteran teacher of 20+ years including two years overseas. While the majority of my teaching experience has been in first grade, I also have experience teaching second grade and pre-k.
I believe children should be engaged in active learning. When children are given choices and freedom to have fun learning, they will take a greater ownership in their learning.
