Hi, I'm Shana! Here you'll find engaging math resources designed to make grade-level math accessible to all students. I have taught high school algebra 1, algebra 2, geometry, consumer math, middle school math and biology, and am certified to teach math grades 1-12, students with mild to moderate disabilities, and biology grades 8-12. I’m currently an inclusion algebra 2 teacher.

Teaching style

I believe that all students can enjoy and be successful learning math. We are all math people! Sometimes some students may need a few extra supports, and I offer these through visual math word walls, hands-on math activities, task cards, scavenger hunts, reference sheets and a variety of assessment types, along with lots of encouragement.
