My philosophy is simple; students do not work for teachers they do not like. By gaining their trust and respect, I have closed basic reading and writing gaps and assisted their automaticity with mathematics. In addition, I believe in collaborating, sharing ideas and learning strategies and skills from my colleagues. Every student absorbs and learns material differently and deserves an exceptional education academically and socially developing into 21st century learners. Being highly qualified, my learning plans are cutting-edge and assist students to succeed in real-life scenarios.
As for honors and rewards, I am not looking for people to constantly praise me, nor tell me what a great job I am doing, but my intrinsic reward is knowing that I have aided my students to succeed. The students that I have had the honor of teaching have also given me satisfaction and a sense of fulfillment in my life. With this being stated, I have been nominated and received recognition for teaching, counseling and administration.
