TEACHING EXPERIENCE

5 years teaching at the high school and middle school levels

MY TEACHING STYLE

I enjoy using a combination of Power Points and a Socratic Method in my daily lessons. It gives students a chance to chime in and give their opinions on past events and how they relate to current events. In many of my lessons I also provide students with a hand out of the notes and they have to fill in the blanks. The highlighted words are what the students have to write down in their notes as I review the material with them. I put in checks for understanding in the form of guided readings or homework review questions.
