TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have my Bachelors in Education, Special Education from Illinois State University with my ESL and Early Childhood endorsements. I just finished my first year teaching Diverse Learners in High School co-taught and separate setting classrooms with individuals who have autism, intellectual disabilities, emotional/behavioral disabilities, severe ADHD, and learning disabilities. I taught Algebra 1, Geometry, and Chemistry. Prior to my first year of teaching, I taught at a Therapeutic Day School for emotional/behavioral disorders in the area of Chemistry and Physics; at a Preschool in an adaptive classroom for students with autism; and at an Elementary School in a resource setting for kindergarten and first graders in the area of reading, writing, and math.
