Scholar's Atelier

I am a private tutor and online teacher who's obsessed with getting students to read complex texts, think about them carefully, and share their own ideas through their writing. I've worked with ages 13-17 in the classroom, as well as with older and younger students one-to-one.

I believe that the best way to help our students grow intellectually is to maximise the time they spend reading, writing, and discussing complex texts with plenty of explicit instruction to help them get better at these core tasks. On TpT, I specialise in providing resources that bring reading and writing together, by creating writing tasks and question sets that build students' understanding of a text and their writing skills at the same time.
