Letter "A" week: I cut out apples and read a non-fiction story about the life cycle of an apple. After the story was complete we spoke about our age and how our human life cycle is different. Students glued the apple together and in the cream
Letter "B" week. We read a non-fiction story about bears and their lifestyle, habits and food choices. After the story each child was given a paper plate that was painted brown. The bottom of the plate was cut so that ears and a tail could be made.

Letter "C" week. We read a non-fiction story on how we get to enjoy milk, grass to table. Students were given plates with painted spots, they had to label each part of the cow and we sequenced how a jug of milk gets to our table.
