TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I became a teacher through Teach for America in 2014. I served my two years and am still teaching in Concordia Parish, Louisiana. I am the science teacher for a K-12 school, where I teach physical science, biology, chemistry, AP biology, and geometry. I have also taught environmental science in the past. My partner is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a bachelors in education. He is a certified business and technology teacher, as well as holding certifications in biology, and 6-12 math. In college he played a pivotal role in directing Gear Up, a summer enrichment program for low SES students in Louisiana.

MY TEACHING STYLE

At School Made Fun we combine gamification and phenomenon-based learning to create highly engaging and fun classroom content for K-12 Education.
