MY TEACHING STYLE

Active learning, mini whiteboards, high student engagement, experiments wherever possible, collaborative learning - get the students working on a variety of tasks to keep them focused and engaged. Plus a little sage on the stage.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Several boxes of chocolates and Christmas/end of year cards from students. Plus I was once given a salt and pepper shaker in the shape of a conical flask from a class as a thank you. I'll take those over an Oscar every day of the week.
