8th Grade Science August 2014 - PRESENT,As science teacher I use STEM pedagogy and 5 E’s planning to implement instruction that meets curriculum standards for 7th and 8th grade science. I develop and implement STEM lessons to drive, challenge and meet the needs of a diverse student population. I am responsible for Student Learning Outcomes (SLO’s) and use data to measure, predict and ensure student success. As a highly effective teacher, I am responsible for differentiated instruction to meet the needs of ESOL and IEP students in an inclusive learning environment.

Notre Dame of Maryland University/CASE 2018 completed, Baltimore MD The Certificate of Advanced Study in Education (CASE) in Instructional Leadership is a 30-credit program for experienced educators who have completed a master’s degree. The program provides advanced studies in leadership, curriculum and pedagogy. Educators acquire or enhance skills that will meet the needs of future educational leadership. Notre Dame of Maryland University/ PhD Present, Baltimore MD The Ph.D. in Instructional Leadership for Changing Populations prepares graduates to provide instructional leadership for linguistically and culturally non-mainstream learners whose research will contribute to knowledge in the field. The driving purpose of the program is to bring the best of relevant contemporary scholarship to bear on creating learning environments that improve the academic performance of all students and to meet the particular needs of these new learners.
