I currently teach physics and physical science at one of the largest districts in PA. This is my 13th year of teaching. In the past, I spent several years teaching chemistry and environmental science.
Teaching style cannot be defined as just one style. My class include lecture, discussion, lab activities, reading and journal activities, and group projects. I do require all students to take their own course notes. I want my students to be independent learners, not just writing what I have on the board.
Graduated from high school in 2002. Graduated from University of Pittsburgh in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in secondary education with a concentration in chemistry. I also have teaching certificates in middle-level math and physics. I earned a MS in Psychology in 2009 and a MS in Education in 2015.
