TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I began my education career teaching middle school science to some tough kiddos on some rough campuses. I learned so much from my wonderful, crazy, chaotic students! I then spent two years as an instructional science coach for an elementary campus where I saw how elementary science directly impacts middle school. Now, I am back at the middle school level teaching eight grade and I am focusing on ELLs and the best practice strategies that will help all of my students become life-long science learners!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a controlled-chaos kind of person. My classroom is rarely quiet or still. I like to identify with my students and let them know I may be 44 years old, but I can keep up with the times!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY
